Recycling Drop-Off Locations Around Foster City

May 20th, 2014

There is nothing quite as rewarding as doing your part to keep the community both clean and green. Do your part to keep the Bay area beautiful by recycling in Foster City at local drop-off locations.

You can recycle both aluminum cans and plastic bottles at the Costco in Foster City at 1001 Metro Center Boulevard. Nearby, you can also take them to the Costco, Key Market, and Rite Aid in San Mateo.

About 10 minutes away in San Carlos, the Shoreway Environmental Center offers places to drop off many of your other recyclable items. This facility accepts glass containers, metals, plastics, paper, cardboard, electronics, appliances, tires, and wood. It’s open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

You can reference the recycling guide provided by San Mateo County’s RecycleWorks program for other recycling locations in the area, too. Plus, take your clothes to H&M at Hillsdale Shopping Center for recycling.

Our luxury eco-friendly apartments in Foster City were built on green principles and even boast gold-level LEED certification. Contact us at 877-506-2678 to learn more about our green living.
