Enjoy Views of San Francisco Bay on the Foster City Ten Miler

December 4th, 2014

There’s still time to register for the Foster City Ten Miler/5K run, one of the prettiest runs in Foster City with fabulous views of San Francisco Bay along a flat, fast course.

The Foster City 10 Miler on January 18th provides a perfect way to start your running new year, and it’s a great race to kick off your training regimen if you have your sights set on bigger races like the Oakland Running Festival in March.

The Foster City 10 Miler starts and ends in Leo J. Ryan Park with entrance through the east gate opposite the Parkside Tower Parking Garage.

The registration fee of $70 per person is still slightly discounted now through January 5th and then becomes $85 per runner through race week.

The race starts at 8:30 am, and all registered runners can expect to have as much water, snacks, electrolytes, and beer as they need or want during and after the race. A performance T-shirt is also included for all runners.

This is one of those runs in Foster City that you just have to try. It’s a unique perspective running on streets closed to traffic and all other pedestrians.

It’s just you and three thousand other eager beavers running in the frosty sun. What’s better than that?

The Foster City 10 Miler is one of two races in the 10 Miler Series produced by Corrigan Sports, the other being the Sunnyvale 10 Miler in August.

There are plenty of additional organized runs in Foster City within a jog of our luxury apartments. Our residents can train for these events in our state-of-the-art fitness center with cardio theater, cool down in our wellness spa, then relax in our Zen garden.
