Central Park in San Mateo is Cookin’ on August 18

August 14th, 2012

Central Park is San Mateo’s premier urban oasis. Just over 4 miles from your front door at The Plaza, this 16.3 acre park features several playgrounds, a rose garden, a Japanese tea garden, a small train, and other recreational services. It also has lighted tennis courts and a baseball field.

Read what Yelper – Yin T has to say: I  love taking my dogs here for walks. Between the large trees and shades you can always find a bench to sit and chat with old friends.  This beautiful park has so much to offer between the baseball field, kiddy train ride, playground, Japanese Tea Garden, Arboretum, recreation center, tennis court and the friendly people who love the park.  The park is filled with family on the weekends.  In the summer, on Thursday nights there is live music.
