4 FAQs About Decorating Your New Apartment in Foster City

Moving into a new community is exciting, especially if you’re joining our eco-friendly apartments in Foster City. It’s new to you, and you want to make it yours, often by decorating it.

Below are frequently asked questions about decorating your new apartment:

  • Is it okay to paint the walls in my unit? You can paint accent walls on the interior apartment walls, but you must paint back to the original color before you move out. If you fail to do so, there will be a charge.
  • What’s the policy for hanging items on the walls? You can mount television’s and hang pictures, but you must patch holes and repaint prior to moving. Failing to do so will result in a charge for restoration.
  • Is it alright to hang curtains? It’s fine to hang curtains, but they must appear white from the outside of your apartment.
  • What is allowed on the patio? Plants and patio furniture are permitted on the patio. All other items are restricted.
