March 25th, 2015

Sandwich Monkey offers a huge selection of made-to-order sandwiches, as well as options so you can make your own. Start by choosing the full or half sized bread. The sour dough and Dutch crunch rolls are the most popular choices. Then add your favorite meat, including hot pastrami, roast beef, albacore tuna and many more. Finish the sandwich by adding your favorite cheese and toppings, and you’ll walk away with a full meal you can hold in your hand.

  • Monkey’s Uncle: A hot sandwich with pastrami, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. It’s a throwback to the classic Rueben, without the corned beef.
  • Roasted Rascal: This sandwich comes with roast beef, cream cheese and a special “safari sauce”. The sauce alone is more than worth the trip.
  • Bonobo: This decadent grilled cheese sandwich includes mozzarella, balsamic vinegar and other savory flavors. You won’t be able to look at your homemade grilled cheese sandwich the same way again.
  • Goodall: This vegetarian offering allows non-meat eaters to enjoy a tasty meal. It includes artichoke hearts, peppers, avocado and other fresh produce.

The nearly countless variations and combinations you can create make Sandwich Monkey one of the restaurants in Foster City you can eat at several times a week and never get bored.

How to Make Your Foster City Apartment Feel Cozy

March 19th, 2015

Clutter happens. It’s something that can be impossible to avoid, but it will happen when we least expect it. All we can do is make the most of the situation. If you feel like you need some apartment decorating tips, here are a few ways to make things feel cozy among the clutter.

9 ways to make your home more cozy and feel less cluttered

Source: The Plaza

Sometimes we have more stuff than we can afford in our luxury apartments in Foster City. In order to make the most of this without having to get rid of all of the things we have is by maximizing how we use our space.

Shelves are a great way to do this. Investing in bookshelves or other units will help you to fill your apartment with lots of cozy vibes.

Personal knick knacks are also necessary for a cozy atmosphere. Make sure to prominently feature items that mean a lot to you, whether they be books, photographs or mementos from loved ones.

By showing off these items we are helping to feel at home in our own space, and we are showing visitors how much we care about those who have given us these items.

Blankets and pillows always make things seem more cozy. If there is a corner of your space that seems a bit cold or strange, try to put a blanket or piece of fabric over an ottoman or other small furniture piece. Toss a pillow on top and watch a boring corner turn into a cozy little nook that you’ll want to sit in and read a book or work on your laptop.

There are plenty of apartment decorating tips to make the most out of your space. The best way to do anything is by figuring out your style. To schedule a tour of our apartment homes, please contact us.

Here are a few examples of when and how to use this natural cleaning solution in your eco-friendly apartments in Foster City.

  • Those well-seasoned cast iron pans still need cleaning after every use. Make a paste by mixing olive oil with a teaspoon of coarse salt, scrub the pan with a bristle brush, then rinse it. Food residue has vanished!
  • Shine stainless steel and remove scratches from leather furniture with olive oil. Pour a bit of olive oil on a clean cotton cloth, and buff the appliance or furniture in circular motions.
  • Prevent rattan and wicker outdoor furniture from cracking by pouring warm olive on a cloth and rubbing it into the surfaces.
  • Polish and clean wood furniture with a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice. For polishing, use 2 cups of oil to 1 cup of lemon juice, and to get out light scratches, use equal parts of both.
  • Other suggestions include using olive oil to get paint off your hands, clean dusty plant leaves, and lubricate squeaky hinges!

Our luxury eco-friendly apartments in Foster City offer a wide range of green interior and exterior amenities that keep our residents happy and loving the lifestyle here.
