Look Fore!-ward to Mariners Point Golf

September 14th, 2012

Did you know? Mariners Point Golf Center was named in Golf Digest’s top 10 favorite ranges across the United States! Located just minutes from The Plaza, set beside San Francisco Bay about 15 minutes south of San Francisco International Airport, Mariners Point Golf Center overlooks the San Mateo Bridge. Amenities include grass tees, a lighted par-3 course and a grass short-game area. Be sure to try the double-deck driving range to practice your shot, or play on the putting greens to practice your “short game”.  Then, test your skills on the 9-hole par-3 course.

” Sure it’s breezy at Mariner’s Point, but Nicole S loves it “when the wind is coming from the west” and knocks her ball 200+ yards. Fore!”: featured in the Weekly Yelp South Bay as one of the community’s favorite golfing hot spots!

Jarren says, ” Best driving range in town…the hottest golfers I’ve ever seen..need i say more? A++ ha ha jk
All jokes aside, i love this driving range, the view of the San Mateo bridge is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the sun sets. I also love the fact that they close late, it’s more convenient for me to go with my friends right after happy hour =)”

Tony’s take: “I recently moved to the Peninsula area and needed to find a new golf driving range.  I was pleasantly surprised to find Mariners point.  The facilities are neat and clean.  I was greeted by Randy at the pro shop.  He was friendly and patient enough to provide me with information about their facility. I’ve now visited Mariners Point a few times and the service has always been fantastic.  They also have a nice 9-hole course —  It’s time for me to take the rest of the family for a fun golf experience.”

The Mariner’s Point Golf Course is operated by VB Golf Partners on City-owned land located at 2401 E. 3rd Avenue.  For more info, call them at 650-573-7888 or visit the website to find our more about lessons, camps and events.
